Jurnal Ekonomi Modernisasi is a peer-reviewed journal that disseminates research in the fields of management and accounting. The journal publishes issues every February, June, and October. The journal is published with fully open access. Jurnal Ekonomi Modernisasi was firstly published in printed version in 2005 (ISSN 0216-373X), but since 2016, the journal has been published online (ISSN 2502-4078). It is published by the Economics and Business Faculty, University of Kanjuruhan Malang, Indonesia. Jurnal Ekonomi Modernisasi promotes the ideas and information among researchers that have been achieved in the area of: financial management, marketing management, human resource management, behavior organizational, good governance, strategic management, entrepreneurship, management accounting, financial accounting, public sector accounting, Islamic accounting, auditing, taxation, business ethics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to know the factors that determine the intention of purchasing green product by considering green awareness and brand image factors through the testing of causality and mediation. The study was conducted in one of the companies that produce environmentally friendly products namely Pronaturlite. Number of respondents as many as 705 consumers in the city of Bandung. The analytical technique used is path analysis through SmartPLS. The results of this study confirm the results of previous studies that show that green awareness and brand image affect the purchase intention, green awareness affects the brand image. In addition, brand image can mediate the relationship of green awareness and purchase intention. This study has implications that companies producing green products are advised to control green awareness and brand image in order to increase consumer purchase intention.

Abstract

The purpose of research to determine the factors that affect employee performance. The study is conducted at Rumah Sakit Mata Jawa Timur. Respondents numbered 70 people other than doctors. Analytical technique used is SEM PLS that test the causal relationship between variables. The results show that the performance management system and employee competence do not affect on the performance. Performance management system and employee competence affect on promotion position. Promotion position affect the performance of employees. The finding is performance management system can not improve the performance of employees if not supported by incentives to employees. Suggestions for further research to test incentive variables as variable that mediates the relationship between performance management systems and employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect job satisfaction of employees in regionally owned enterprise. Based on the background to the problem, earlier theories and researches, these factors are work environment, organizational culture and work motivation . The study was conducted at the Prodexim Regional Company of South Sulawesi. Used of 70 people as respondents. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The result of the research shows that the work environment and organizational culture has a positive effect on work motivation and job satisfaction, but motivation has no effect on job satisfaction in regionally owned enterprise of Prodexim South Sumatera. Motivation cannot role as mediation variable between work environment and organizational culture toward job satisfaction. Implication of the research that increasing employee satisfaction can be improvement through work environment and organizational culture.

Abstract

Current study inspected the psychometric properties of multifactor leadership questionnaire (MLQ) in pharmaceutical sector of Pakistan. Data was collected from 370 employees working in pharmaceutical companies in Lahore region of Punjab, Pakistan. Data was analyzed by using Smart-PLS 2.0 M3 statistical software. The results of the current study demonstrated that all the leadership styles in MLQ were adequately relevant according to the Pakistani context. The results further revealed that each leadership style showed optimum internal consistency reliability, convergent validity and discriminant validity. Based on the current study results, it is highly suggested that the use of MLQ instrument would be very useful in order to measure the leadership styles in Pakistan, particularly in pharmaceutical sector.

Abstract

This research aims to test the relationship between organizational resilience and organizational performance, directly and indirectly through resilient leadership. Method used survey research with quantitative approach, and path analysis to analise the influence of each variable. Findings show that organizational resilience did not influenced organizational performance directly. Instead, organizational resilience significantly influenced organizational performance through resilient leadership. Respondents prefer to choose strategic organizational resilience. This indicates that organizations already reached top level of maturity. It means that in facing crisis or threats, organizations response it by doing organizational resilience with the purpose not only back to normal, but also to become thrive (bounce forwards). The findings of this research is that organizational resilience can be enhanced by using resilient leadership.
